We aim to provide value for money for plumbing services in an honest way with fixed prices where possible and a unique blocked drain clearance guarantee whereby we will not charge you if we cannot clear your blocked sewer drain, no matter what the cause. We want to remove the fear of overcharging and bad practice from our industry, by being fair, honest and reasonable. Whenever possible we will give a fixed price for your plumbing job, or if we cannot give a fixed price, explain the reasons why not. We always aim to keep the cost to our customers as low as possible.
PRICING POLICYFor common jobs, including clearing blocked sewer pipes, we give a fixed price and we take the risk that the plumbing job can be done for that price. If the value of the work exceeds that price, we will not charge you any more. For other work, typically major excavation work, we cannot foresee what is likely to be underground and so we are more likely to give an estimate. We always aim to keep within the estimate, but if we can't we will tell you as soon as we know, and advise you what the likely cost will be.

Nobody ever worries about their drains until they stop working, generally leading to bad smells and the risk of sewer or water coming up in all the wrong places. At Purple Plumbing our vehicles carry High Pressure Water Jets, capable of building water pressure up to 5000psi and then under the control of a fully trained plumber, shoots the water into the pipe removing the blockage.
Whether a sewer drain pipe or a vertical stormwater pipe, the high pressure jets can handle it. Due to the design of the jet head, the pipe self propels itself forward giving it the ability to climb vertically as well as horizontally if required. High pressure jetting is a very efficient and effective way to deal with most blocked drains or pipes.
GUARANTEE
We have a simple no quibble 3 month guarantee - if we clear your blocked drain and it blocks again within 3 months, one of our plumbers will return to clear it again for free.
In addition, where we can visually inspect your sewer with a CCTV, we extend our guarantee to 12 months and will return free in that period if we do not identify a defect, such as a broken or damaged pipe, or if the blockage was not caused by items such as sticks, clothing, nappies etc.
